Another Notch On My Crazy Cat Lady Belt

Internet, I have a question for you: Who signed me up on this catalog’s mailing list?
I have had cats for five years and let me tell you, I’ve never gotten this before. So I’m thinking this is a joke. Either that or these Drs. Foster and Smith are really good.
So let’s take a look in this catalog, shall we?
First up, I might get this just because I can and it would piss off my cats.
Next up, something I’ll need if we need to go out and about.
Or when I need to take my cat somewhere and be hands free.
This I might actually buy because it plays into my need to be lazy. No longer will I have to give them treats. They’ll have to work for it and be REWARDED.
Look Mom, I’m PURTY!
Don’t forget Christmas is coming up. I bet you were all wondering what to do with your leftover scrunchies.

Ha. My dogs wore the jingly scrunchy things to the mountains last year. A) those things are really obnoxious but B) they were great as mobile Doggie Positioning Systems, so will probably be utilized on any return trips. Poor pups.
I’m not sure I can come up with justification for the kitties though, unless “annoying the **** out of” counts.

AAAaaah. I love this, it is way too funny. Hey, no joke, I saw someone last summer dressed head to toe in military fatigues, who was walking around downtown with the cat stroller, only inside, it wasn’t a cat, it was a rabbit.
Too funny!!!!! And you know Simba would let you dress him, stroller him, sling him, etc., cuz he’s just that kind of a guy!
I did see an article AND pictures of a charity masquerade birthday party for some cat that’s the “cat in residence” at a NY hotel…cats dressed as Cleopatra, pirates, Raggedy Ann, etc. Too funny!!!!!
okay…just for the record…I give my dog that Angel Eyes stuff…to keep his face from discoloring.

Of course. I’m going to use my (rather expensive) baby carriers for new cats we’re getting at some point once the Poptart is too big for the carriers. Reduce, reuse, recycle, right?

Where is the page full of salves for the scratch wounds one will suffer when trying to put a cat into a side pouch? Because, that is going to happen.
I was wondering where my subscription went. I used to get that catalogue but haven’t in a year or so. I must be a bad cat and dog mommy!
Um, I think my mom bought one of those cat collars and used to put it around my sister’s wrist when she was a baby so we could locate her in the house once she was vertically mobile.
And I always said that if I got another cat, I’d buy one of the automatic litter box cleaners.

oh that is a real hoot. also i was at petco once and this woman starts talking to me about this pet carriage thing and i am like what are you talking about lady? and she is all i am going to get this and take my cat for a walk! and i burst out laughing. and she is all don’t you walk your cats? and i say no. and keep laughing.
i also howl when i see someone with a cat on a leash. who are these people?

Okay, so my mom totally just bought a stroller for her dog and I have not stopped making fun of her for it. My fav email from her regarding the stroller said “Took Stat for his first stroll. As soon as we left the apartment he pissed all over the inside of it. I guess it was too much excitement for him.”
When Truman outgrows his baby carriers I’m sending them to you so you can wear your cats. Go buy your protective gear now.
Whitney has a similar treat ball and it is the best thing ever. Fill it up, toss, and the cat leaves you alone for a little while. If Tangi were still waking me up in the middle of the night I would get one to keep on my nightstand. Toss it out the room for instant cat removal.

Why the’d even let someone in with a freaking cat is beyond me. Imagine what would happen if it got loose near the Coyote exibit or something. ACK.
I like the new design too! (which I said already but I think your comments ate me!). And the cat thing: I love my cat but *shudder* she does not get dressed up or fancy toys because I refuse to be *that* cat owner 🙂
