If you weren’t staying in your own house this year for BlogHer and I weren’t going to be too preggo to go, I would suggest we be roommates because I need my bedroom to be dark and cold too. I sleep with the aircon on (in the winter, when my neighbors have their heaters on) and a sleep mask because that is the only acceptable way to sleep. And poor jparks spends his nights shivering and whining about how his feet are getting frostbite.

I can’t sleep unless it’s frigid in our bedroom, too. And Chris needs the sound of a fan of some sort, so we rock a sort of air circulatory device all year round.

I used to bitch about our bedroom being 87 degrees colder than the rest of our condo, but then I realized that there is nothing better than snuggling under mountains of pillows and blankets. I always have had sleeping problems too. When I bought my condo I bought blackout curtains. I highly recommend them. Though you have to be careful not to sleep all day because at noon it is still pretty dark in there, so time sort of slips away.
