I think that the best I ever did in the Pinewood Derby was third place. The first year we did it, my stepfather got really into it with me - we spent a lot of time creating the perfect car. I think he got disillusioned when he saw how crappy the track was and that winning (in my pack at least) was mostly about luck. Matts last blog post..Moving Day

I haven’t been to our PubQuiz since the beginning of the year and I’m pleased to say that the team’s come in 4th for the last 4 weeks. I know this has nothing to do with me, but has to do with the fact that one of the teams is made up of the day waitstaff and they have access to the answers.

Still, it feels nice.
