It seems wrong to say how happy I was to read this post, but alas my life consists of candy corn, job searching, naps, and a multitude of Old Navy tank tops and sweats, so it was great to find another. I was laid off about two months ago and seem to be lost (I also have lupus and fibro and a multitude of health issues that lend towards my inability to make a life plan beyond the TLC and Bravo schedule. Oh and an MBA but lets ignore that little detail). I didn’t know 6 AM still existed, appreciate the wine club suggestion (alas my budget only leaves room for Trader Joes 2 buck chuck), and attended Catholic high school and I’d choose unemployment!

I hear ya about the clothes that double as pjs (or vice versa really). Nice re: wine club! We used to belong to one. We (read: I) like white better so though we now only have reds left. Hubs works for a Catholic college and they drink more at social events (more quantity wise and also more frequently) than the uber liberal college we worked for in Boston, so your drinking on the job could be more permissible than you imagine at the Catholic org

I realized the other day, if I was allowed to telecommute, I would never have to leave the apartment again. I can get, books, movies & magazines through rental services. Target, Safeway & CVS all deliver, and I bank electronically so I never need postage or checks. What a wonderful world.
