I am soooooo with you on this! I love to travel, but I am always oh, so ready to go back home. And I’m also hating to go out at night after a long day of work! I just want to relax in my comfy PJs and sip a glass of wine and maybe read a good book.

Or maybe in my case it’s just ’cause I’m old. LOL

Ah yes, going to useless conferences. I was sent for a writing 101 conference all the way in Florida. Seeing I have 14 years as a copywriter and never had a complaint, I went and used up my travel allowance (sushi anyone?). I sat in the hotel room, made arrangements to leave 2 days early because I couldn’t take it anymore, and left at my own expense but it was so worth it. If the man was with me then we would have totally gone to the amusement park instead. But I was alone and felt like a loser sitting in a hotel room for a day so I said screw it and left.

Plus when the conference moderator goes ‘and what is your experience in writing’ I told her and she goes “why are you hear?”

“Because Discover Card and my boss likes to waste money and are trying to get me to quit. It’s working.”

I am very much a homebody, too. Even as a kid I hated sleeping over at other people’s houses. And I have totally lived in my fair share of places without A/C – NOT.FUN. Soak up that free air while you can!

I fear that I am single handedly causing global warming with my hotel air conditioner usage. I love a cold room for sleeping, Arctic even. When I stay at hotels and, I don't have to pay the energy bill, I drop the air down to 60. And then I still complain about it being too hot. regans last blog post..13.1 this weekend
