Saying you dislike a song is not outrageous. Not being a fan of a National Anthem does not mean you are less patriotic or proud to be American. It is a song. Nothing more. And if people can only associate themselves or justify themselves by a song, words on paper, notes to be played (and when sung hopefully sung well..that is one tough song for many singers!)...then that is just extremely sad. Ask anyone the world over...is your National Anthem one of your favourite tunes? Do you have it on your iPod?!? What will be the answer??
